Fuller Chest

How to Build a Fuller Chest

Q: I have been working out for about a year, and now want to concentrate on getting a fuller chest. A fuller chest that is more defined is a real challenge to develop for me. What do you suggest?

A: To get that full chest, you must stick to the basic chest exercises. This will include performing compound chest movements designed to build mass. The barbell flat-bench and barbell-incline exercises are good for this purpose. Start with the flat bench and aim to increase the weight over the sets. I suggest 6-10 reps and do not exceed 4-5 sets of moderate to progressively heavier weights. Next, the barbell-incline exercises, and stick to the same reps and sets. A nice finish exercise will be performing dumbbell flat flies and dips. Try 10-12 reps with about two sets. Start soon and you be will on your way to that full chest.
