Bodybuilding Fish Recipes

Fish Recipes for Bodybuilding

Fish is without a doubt the most effective way to get all the macro and micronutrients into your body if you are a bodybuilder wanting to add muscle. For example a 175 gram piece of Salmon will give you a total of 39 grams of extremely good protein that is easily digestible.

Along with the huge amount of protein that you get from all fish you also get the much needed good quality fats that are necessary for your increased testosterone demand that you will be using. In the same 175 gram Salmon you also get a lot of fat as you get 22 grams in a 175 gram piece of Salmon but it is all good quality fat.

It needs to be added here that unless you are not concerned about putting on any fat for bulking up you should never fry any foods. The recipe listed below is recommending to grill your fish in preparation. If your objective is to lose fat then you always need to make sure that you avoid frying any foods.

The last point is the salt which you will find in sea water fish like Salmon which may seem a bit high but you can be strict about this by making sure that you do not add any extra salt when eating. There is also the option of limiting your fish to fresh water fish, which is a bit more expensive.

The following ingredients together with a clove of crushed garlic and half a teaspoon of ginger and with half a glass of orange juice should be combined in a bag in order to marinate for 2 hours.

Before closing the bag 3 X 3.5 oz fillets of salmon should be added and after 2 hours of marinating should then be cooked on a grill until it starts to flake when using a fork. The rest of the marinade should be added as you cook.

The following ingredients should be added to the salmon.

1/3 Soy Sauce with reduced sodium

1/2 cup sliced onion

When the salmon has been cooked it should be sprinkled with some crushed Orange rind and served.

The 3 servings will have a calorie value of 160 calories each. 5 grams of fat and 5.2 grams of carbohydrate, with 21.5 grams of protein with each fillet.
